Our Journey

We Grow Food That Nourishes The Body. Our Food Is Our Medicine.

We are Jim and Lisa MacDonald. We have been farming in the hinterland of Coffs Harbour NSW since 2012. It has always been a struggle to grow the healthiest and most nutritious food for our customers, so we began a hunt for clean and healthy ways to improve our production and grow the most nutrient dense food that we could. Thus began our quest for the ultimate plant enhancement product by combining new tech with our love for organic and sustainable growing practices.

We have grown our lettuce and microgreens for over twelve years using aquaponics for five years, and converting it to deep water hydroponics, which is our current growing method. Field tests using Liquid CO2 GANS technology since 2016, have shown astounding results, Microgreen shoots showing shelf life of many weeks in specific conditions and plants coping in the extreme conditions of the Australian environment where all others would have failed. Testing has shown a 40 percent increase in nutrient values of our microgreens and lettuce when using our products in conjunction with our usual nutrient feeding regime. Other tests around the world were also producing wonderful results using the CO2 liquid plasma. (improved protein levels in grain crops too).

We can help you grow the most nutritious food, because we grow it too. Our product range, Plasma Ecosystems was launched in 2019 as a small test project and now we are ready to bring these products to a wider audience.

We still run our farm with family participation and love the positive feedback we receive from all our loyal greens eating customers in the Coffs Harbour region.
